Shipping & Inventory Specialist
Pay: $20 – $22/hr
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 4 PM (Full-Time)
Type: Temp-to-Hire | Small Team
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley, 85024) | 100% On-Site
The Role
Go beyond moving boxes. Join a tight-knit team handling a unique mix of precision forklift operation, end-to-end logistics, and light tech prep for sensitive electronics.
Key Responsibilities
Ship & Receive: Process high-volume domestic/international parcel and LTL freight orders. Stage shipments, build pallets, shrink-wrap loads, and print carrier labels via UPS, FedEx, and DHL . Forklift Operation: Safely operate an electric 3-wheel forklift to unload delivery trucks, stack racks, and transport fragile electronic gear. Light Tech Prep: Load firmware, test touchscreen monitors, and verify video output (training provided) . Inventory Tracking: Receive incoming stock, inspect for transit damage, perform cycle counts, and fulfill orders using ShipStation and ClickUp .
What You Need
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Shipping & Receiving Experience: 1+ year of hands-on warehouse logistics experience. Must be proficient with multi-carrier parcel shipping software and preparing commercial invoices/freight documentation. Forklift Experience: Proven experience operating electric forklifts and safely handling delicate, easily damaged cargo (formal certification not required) . Location: Live within 10–15 miles of ZIP 85024. Credentials: Valid Driver’s License required. Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely handle fragile components.
