What You'll Do

As a GIS Technician III, you'll serve as a trusted GIS resource for internal stakeholders by delivering accurate data, meaningful analysis, and high-quality mapping products.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, update, and enhance GIS datasets that support asset management and analytics initiatives
- Perform GIS editing, geoprocessing, digitizing, and spatial analysis activities
- Create professional maps, dashboards, reports, and geospatial deliverables for business partners
- Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of GIS data
- Support linear asset management workflows using Linear Referencing Systems (LRS)
- Develop and maintain GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Assist with Utility Network and UPDM data model implementations and enhancements
- Utilize ModelBuilder and Python tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Support GIS application testing, upgrades, and integrations
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver effective GIS solutions
- Communicate technical information to both GIS and non-technical audiences
- Leverage SQL, AutoCAD, SharePoint, and FME to support data management and integration efforts
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional GIS experience
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Spatial Analysis, or a related discipline
- Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Pro
- Strong experience with GIS data management, editing, and spatial analysis
- Proven track record performing GIS QA/QC and maintaining data integrity
- Experience working with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS)
- Ability to develop maps, reports, and geospatial products for diverse audiences
- Experience supporting utility, pipeline, natural gas, or infrastructure-related GIS programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

This position follows a hybrid schedule , with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
