Position: Aviation Logistics Planner (Senior)

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking an Aviation Logistics Planner, Senior to support the PMA-259 program office in Lexington Park, MD. The role focuses on aviation weapons systems logistics, maintenance planning, and life-cycle sustainment, with an emphasis on system supportability and long-term program effectiveness.

Responsibilities
- Develop solutions to complex aviation logistics planning and execution challenges supporting government aviation programs.
- Analyze logistics issues involving aircraft, weapons systems, support systems, and associated logistics processes.
- Develop recommendations to improve logistics processes, system supportability, and life-cycle sustainment.
- Support technology-insertion and modernization initiatives designed to improve logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop approaches to reduce total ownership costs and improve long-term sustainment outcomes.
- Provide senior-level logistics planning and analysis for specific weapons-system requirements and broader aviation logistics initiatives.
- Apply aviation weapons systems maintenance planning and logistics management expertise to support program objectives.
- Evaluate logistics processes across platforms to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
- Provide senior-level input to aviation logistics strategies, modernization efforts, and long-range planning.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to develop and communicate logistics recommendations and program-level solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
- Master of Science (MS) or Master of Arts (MA) degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) or more years of directly related experience supporting aviation logistics, aviation weapons systems, maintenance planning, life-cycle logistics, or logistics management within a DoD, military, or defense contracting environment.
- Experience analyzing complex aviation logistics issues and developing recommendations related to system supportability, sustainment, or logistics processes.
- Experience supporting aviation or weapons-system acquisition, sustainment, or life-cycle management programs.
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform senior-level logistics analysis and provide recommendations to government or program leadership.
- Must be able to work onsite in Lexington Park, MD.  
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Navy, NAVAIR, PMA, or other DoD program offices.
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or international defense programs.
- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or product support planning.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition and life-cycle management processes.
- Experience developing program documentation, briefings, and analytical reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually.
