Position: Cybersecurity Specialist IAT II - Intermediate

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist IAT II – Intermediate to support cybersecurity activities for Department of Defense (DoD) systems and enclave environments. The position supports cybersecurity assessment and authorization, security control evaluation, vulnerability management, and the development and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation and authorization artifacts.

Responsibilities
- Apply cybersecurity policies, tools, procedures, and established practices to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities while supporting overall system security objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and update cybersecurity artifacts supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities.
- Prepare documentation and evidence for authorization packages.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of security controls through testing, analysis, and documentation.
- Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) in eMASS.
- Submit and manage eMASS workflows.
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software cybersecurity issues within enclave environments.
- Review technical assessment reports and assist with prioritizing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with government and contractor personnel to address cybersecurity requirements and security-related issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or cybersecurity-related field from an accredited institution and at least 5 years of cybersecurity technical experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in a non-STEM/non-cybersecurity field and at least 7 years of DoD cybersecurity technical experience supporting missile defense or other complex DoD programs/projects; OR
- Associate's degree in a STEM or cybersecurity-related field and at least 10 years of DoD cybersecurity experience supporting missile defense or other complex DoD programs/projects.
- IAT Level II certification meeting DoD requirements.
- Technical certification or at least 2 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- McAfee Endpoint Security
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Splunk
- Network, enclave, or system security toolsets
- Experience reviewing technical assessment results and prioritizing cybersecurity corrective actions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting technical reviews, management, or assessment of:
- Software and cloud environments
- Firewalls
- Network defense
- Ports, protocols, and services
- DevSecOps environments
- Experience supporting DoD Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and eMASS.
- Experience supporting missile defense or other complex DoD programs.
