You'll be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, social workers, nurses and reablement staff to deliver seamless care for individuals across Swansea.

No two days are the same. You'll work across community, hospital and residential settings, helping people achieve the best possible outcomes and supporting innovative approaches to rehabilitation and discharge planning.

What You'll Do

As a senior member of the team, you will:

- Manage a complex caseload of adults and young people with physical disabilities.
- Deliver assessment, rehabilitation and reablement interventions in homes, care homes, community facilities and hospital settings.
- Support safe, timely hospital discharge and help prevent avoidable admissions.
- Provide advanced clinical expertise and professional leadership within community services.
- Lead, mentor and supervise therapy staff, supporting professional growth and high-quality practice.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and transformation projects.
- Support operational management, including caseload allocation, facilitate peer group supervision, workforce development and service delivery.
- Promote excellence and consistency across therapy services.
- Participate in a seven-day service rota and travel across Swansea as required.

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and compassionate Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and developing others.

You will have:

- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Significant post-registration clinical experience
- Experience leading, supervising or managing staff
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Confidence managing complex caseloads and supporting service improvement
- A proactive approach to change, innovation and service transformation

Experience within a local authority setting and experience working with adults and/or paediatrics would be advantageous, but is not essential. We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists from a variety of backgrounds who are keen to develop their community rehabilitation expertise.

Welsh language skills (Level 1) are desirable, although applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.
