Communications Manager - Sipoo

Are you an ambitious communications professional who combines strategic thinking with practical execution? Do you enjoy building relationships, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and translating global priorities into locally relevant communications?

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to strengthen Arla’s 360° communications in Finland. In this role, you will shape and deliver our Finnish communications and public affairs agenda while working closely with colleagues across Arla’s global communications organization.

You will report to the Head of Communications Sweden and make sure that our communications are relevant to the Finnish market and its stakeholders. This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible on a mutually agreed date.

How you can make an impact

- Translate Arla’s global priorities and initiatives into locally relevant actions while contributing Finnish insights to the global communications community.
- Develop and deliver Arla’s communications and public affairs agenda in Finland, strengthening our reputation and visibility through proactive PR, media engagement and other communications activities.
- Keep track of the Finnish media, political and competitive landscape and advise local teams on relevant topics and opportunities to engage with stakeholders and the media.
- Develop and deliver integrated, 360° communications that bring Arla’s corporate narrative to life.
- Build understanding of Arla’s farmer-owner model, contracted farmer network and role in the Finnish dairy sector and society.

What would make you an ideal candidate

- A relevant experience in 360 corporate communications, PR, public affairs, media relations or a related field, ideally in both local and international environments.
- You are comfortable working both strategically and hands-on across a broad range of communications activities.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, build trusted relationships and represent Arla credibly with different stakeholders.
- Curious and keen to learn mind, with an interest in connecting with people and building networks across Arla and beyond.
- You can identify the right forums for Arla, understand new topics quickly and communicate our point of view effectively.
- A global mindset and enjoy collaborating across markets, functions and organizational levels.
- Professional fluency in Finnish and English.
- A university degree in a relevant field.

Experience in public affairs is an advantage, but deep legislative expertise is not required. More important is your ability to understand relevant societal conversations, identify the right forums, and connect communications and stakeholder engagement with Arla’s business priorities.
