As our new IT Project Management Team Lead, you will lead a team of project managers responsible for delivering business-critical technology and automation initiatives, ensuring projects are executed successfully while continuously developing project management capabilities across the organization.

As our new Team Leader within IT Project Management, you will take responsibility for both people leadership and project excellence. From day one, you will work closely with stakeholders across Production, Engineering, IT, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery while developing a strong and high-performing team, says Benny Høgild Brogaard, Senior IT Manager.

How you will make an impact

As IT Team Lead in the IT Project team, you will lead a team of 8 project managers and ensure the successful planning and execution of technology and automation projects that support our production environment and business strategy. You will be responsible for resource allocation, stakeholder management, project governance, and continuous improvement of project practices. Working closely with production, central IT functions, engineering teams and external suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to agreed quality standards.

Your five key responsibilities will be to

- Lead, develop and support a team of IT project leaders, creating clear priorities and enabling strong collaboration.
- Develop and implement operational plans for the area, including the effective allocation and deployment of resources.
- Drive continuous improvement and participate in project groups within IT and cross-functional initiatives

The role reports to the Senior IT Manager and is located at our site, Danmark Protein, Videbæk. The position plays a key part in the continued development of the Production IT organization.

What will make you successful

We imagine that the right candidate brings a strong IT foundation and a strategic approach to operations in a larger organisation. You are an IT generalist who can both run and evolve the function, ideally with experience from food or manufacturing companies. Familiarity with structured project models and the ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes will help you succeed in the role.

Moreover, you bring

- Relevant IT degree (minimum AP Computer Science/Data Technician; ideally MSc in IT or similar)
- Experience within IT project management in a larger company; manufacturing/food industry experience is an advantage
- Proven leadership experience, leading teams or projects, and a strong desire to develop within this direction
- Experience with project governance, and structured reporting to leadership
- You have a strong sense of quality, and the ability to prioritize and lead the team during busy periods, ensuring that support and project deliverables are executed correctly.
- Fluency in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
