Senior Electrical Project Engineer – Plant Projects

NOV is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Plant Projects department. The department is responsible for investments in manufacturing equipment and factory infrastructure across our production sites in Denmark and Brazil. Our projects include new production equipment, factory expansions, equipment upgrades, refurbishment projects, and electrical infrastructure improvements supporting manufacturing growth, capacity expansion, and operational reliability.

As our senior electrical project engineer, you will act as the department's primary technical authority for electrical engineering. Besides executing projects yourself, you will proactively identify new improvement opportunities, coordinate electrical engineering activities across projects, and support the development of the department's electrical engineering capabilities.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience within industrial manufacturing, plant engineering or capital projects.
- Experience with project execution from concept through implementation and handover.
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering activities within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong experience with electrical power systems, industrial control systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- Experience reviewing supplier documentation, electrical designs and technical specifications.
- Experience working with contractors and external suppliers.
- Strong understanding of machine operation and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation.
- Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis.
- Experience with Smart Factory initiatives.
- Experience with CAD and electrical design tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Experience from heavy industry or offshore equipment manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Danish and/or Portuguese.
