About this role
On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Project Support Officer (Inside IR35) for a 6 Months (until 31st March 2027) contract based REMOTELY - occasional travel to your nearest hub .

As a Project Support Officer , your main responsibilities will be:
- Support Programme leadership by coordinating delivery activity and enabling informed decision -making across the programme.
- Maintain and apply project and programme management processes to ensure consistency, compliance and effective governance.
- Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment activity and onboarding, providing accurate resourcing information and support.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, escalating where appropriate.
- Contribute to resolving delivery challenges through analysis , tracking and timely intervention.
- Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement across programme delivery.
- Support delivery of programme outcomes to agreed standards, timescales and governance requirements.
- Monitor programme spend and support procurement activity in line with financial controls and authority levels.
- Produce clear, accurate reports and performance updates for governance and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate across the programme and wider Agency to support joined-up delivery.
Essential:
- Familiarity with Digital Data and Technology perspective, user-centred design, Government Digital Service Manual and Service Standard.
- Understanding of project and programme management principles and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting projects or programmes within a structured delivery environment.
- Experience producing clear, accurate reports for governance and senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, assumption and change control processes.
- Ability to coordinate planning, scheduling and delivery activity across multiple workstream
- Experience maintaining effective document and information management systems.
