Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic hardware and PCB assemblies for sensor-based Oil & Gas monitoring and instrumentation systems.
Evaluate and select appropriate sensors, batteries, microcontrollers, power components, and electronic components based on system requirements.
Develop schematics, PCB layouts, component specifications, BOMs, and hardware design documentation.
Perform hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and qualification of prototypes and production designs.
Collaborate with software, systems, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful hardware/software integration and product development.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and PCB development.
Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and prototype development.
Experience with sensor interfaces, power supplies, battery systems, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces.
Strong troubleshooting, testing, technical documentation, and design-review skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Oil & Gas, industrial instrumentation, IoT, process automation, or other harsh-environment applications.
Experience selecting components for low-power, battery-operated, and long-life field devices.
Knowledge of Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar PCB design tools.
Understanding of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, and hardware reliability.
Familiarity with industrial standards, environmental qualification, and requirements for hazardous/harsh environments.
