Job Title: Workplace Experience Ambassador 3 Job Description
The Workplace Experience Ambassador 3 delivers a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience for employees, guests, and visitors in a professional office setting. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with workplace support and runner responsibilities to ensure a seamless journey from arrival to departure. The ambassador partners closely with workplace, facilities, and other service teams to maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient environment while upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner, creating a welcoming first impression.
- Manage the check-in process, including security badging and wayfinding, in accordance with established site protocols.
- Maintain a polished, professional presence at the front desk and ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Respond to and direct incoming calls, messages, and general inquiries, ensuring they reach the appropriate contacts quickly and accurately.
- Provide clear information about workplace services, building amenities, and nearby resources to employees and guests.
- Provide scheduled and ad-hoc coverage for reception team members during breaks or approved time off to ensure continuous service.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of assigned floors to confirm that all workplace areas are stocked, orderly, and aligned with service standards.
- Restock supplies such as pantry items, snacks, copier stations, and general office materials to support daily operations.
- Support light room resets to prepare meeting and conference spaces for upcoming use, including basic tidying and layout adjustments.
- Submit work orders and promptly communicate maintenance, cleaning, or technical issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Provide supplemental support to the mailroom or workplace team during low-traffic periods as needed.
- Assist with routine operational tasks to ensure consistent daily service delivery across the site.
- Anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions to employees and guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written channels with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of services and a cohesive workplace experience.
- Follow established standards of service and contribute actively to a positive, hospitality-focused workplace culture.
- Support meeting and event needs as directed, including coordination with internal partners and service providers.
- Adhere to attendance expectations, communicate promptly about any issues impacting scheduled commitments, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
- Use basic workplace systems and Microsoft Office tools to support administrative and operational tasks.
- Lift and move items within the 1525 lb range as part of routine stocking and support activities, requesting assistance for heavier items as needed.
Essential Skills
- 13 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace services, or office support.
- Proven ability to engage with employees and guests in a friendly, confident, and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage shifting daily priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic workplace systems.
- Effective communication and people skills, including clear verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated customer service mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences.
- Ability to lift 1525 lbs for routine stocking and support tasks, with a willingness to request help for heavier items.
- Reliable, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Ability to maintain composure and a professional demeanor in fast-paced or high-traffic environments.
- Strong organizational skills to keep reception and workplace areas orderly and presentable.
- Comfort interacting with a high-end, client-facing environment, including professional sports or entertainment clientele, where applicable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or reception roles within high-end, client-facing environments is highly desirable.
- Prior experience using building ticketing or work order systems is a plus.
- Background in administrative support or office coordination is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across workplace, facilities, and other service teams.
- Comfort supporting meetings and events, including basic room setup and coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact the guest experience.
Work Environment
This role is based in a professional office environment and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The position requires regular walking throughout the facility to perform floor walkthroughs, restock supplies, and support meeting spaces. The workplace does not provide free onsite parking and is accessible via public transportation. The ambassador works closely with workplace, facilities, and other service teams, frequently using Microsoft Office and basic workplace systems to support daily operations. The environment is fast-paced and high-traffic at times, requiring a polished, professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with employees, guests, and visitors at all levels. The role involves light physical tasks such as lifting and moving items within the 1525 lb range, with assistance available for heavier items as needed. Interviews may be conducted in multiple virtual rounds, with a possible in-person round, and a standard Background check is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $10.00 - $10.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
