The Purchasing & Quoting Analyst is responsible for executing core procurement activities to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This includes issuing RFQs, selecting suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to support production schedules. The role requires hands-on ownership of purchasing transactions, supplier relationships, and expediting efforts in a high-precision, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotes.
- Select suppliers based on cost, lead time, and quality.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Track and expedite deliveries aligned to production schedules.
- Resolve supplier issues such as delays, quality, and documentation concerns.
- Maintain accurate ERP data and purchase order line status.
- Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
Essential Skills
- Direct purchasing experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
- Proven ownership of RFQs, supplier selection, and purchase order execution.
- Experience purchasing machined components, fabricated parts, or assemblies.
- Strong ERP/MRP system experience.
- High attention to detail and accountability.

Work Environment
This position requires 100% on-site presence in Manchester, CT. The work environment is a hybrid of manufacturing and office settings, involving heavy interaction with suppliers, the production floor, and engineering and quality teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $97500.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
