Job Title: Interior Designer (2-5 Years of Experience) Job Description This role focuses on delivering thoughtful, modern interior design solutions within a Corporate Interiors Group. The Interior Designer handles all aspects of design for corporate workplace projects, working closely with project managers and interior designers to develop innovative, contemporary spaces that reflect a strong attention to detail and a passion for creative, modern design. Responsibilities

- Work under the direction of project managers to support the successful delivery of interior design projects.
- Work with interior designers to develop cohesive design concepts and solutions for corporate interiors.
- Use design and drafting software, including Revit, AutoCAD, 3DS Max, SketchUp, and Photoshop, to create drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
- Research and select colors, finishes, materials, and furnishings that align with project goals and modern design standards.
- Prepare design and presentation drafting for interior design projects, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Develop furniture specifications, finish boards, and binders to clearly communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
- Support business development efforts by assisting with high-quality presentation materials and visualizations for prospective and existing clients.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients through clear communication, responsiveness, and a strong understanding of their needs.
- Take initiative to research and learn applicable codes, standards, and technical information relevant to interior design and corporate workplace projects.
- Contribute actively in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with small project teams of approximately 35 people.
- Align design work with a modern design aesthetic, contributing to projects that emphasize contemporary and cutting-edge solutions.
- Participate in project work that typically spans 618 months, helping to manage design deliverables throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills

- Bachelors degree in Interior Design.
- At least 2 years of experience working on interior design projects, preferably focused on corporate interiors.
- Demonstrated corporate workplace design experience.
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for creative and thoughtful design.
- Proficiency with Revit, including regular use on recent design projects and across multiple phases of design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for drafting and documentation.
- Proficiency with 3DS Max and/or similar rendering tools for visualizations.
- Proficiency with SketchUp for conceptual and detailed modeling.
- Proficiency with Photoshop for presentation graphics and visual communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
- Comfort working in a deadline-intensive setting with multiple active projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Interest in modern design and alignment with a contemporary aesthetic, rather than post-modern styles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience supporting designers and project managers on corporate interiors or workplace projects.
- Experience preparing finish boards, materials binders, and furniture specifications.
- Experience producing presentation materials for business development or client pitches.
- Familiarity with researching and interpreting building codes and technical standards related to interior design.
- Experience working within fairly flat organizational structures where all team members have ownership and input.
- Exposure to healthcare-related interiors or projects with modern design emphasis is beneficial.
- Motivation to grow under the guidance of recognized architecture and interior design leaders in a major design community.
- Clear long-term interest in design and a passion for contributing to innovative, modern interior environments.

Work Environment The work environment is highly collaborative, with a culture that emphasizes inclusion, shared ownership of projects, and open communication across all levels of experience. Project teams are generally small, consisting of 35 people working closely together on projects that typically last between 6 and 18 months. The office operates in a deadline-intensive setting, so adaptability and time management are important. The physical workspace features an open office layout with no enclosed private offices; everyone, including principals, sits in the same open environment. Desks and storage elements are designed to be interchangeable to encourage teamwork, flexibility, and the sharing of ideas and information. There are dedicated areas for private calls when needed. The primary office is a modern, well-designed space that serves as the headquarters, with additional offices in other major cities and plans for future expansion. The role offers flexibility in work arrangements, with the option to work fully remote until further notice and, thereafter, the choice to remain remote, work in a hybrid model, or work full-time in the office. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
