As a Contracts Manager, you will also work with customers to shape and close business opportunities in concert with internal and partner objectives. Work products and interactions will be at multiple levels, from your Contracts team, to the leadership team of the Business Area.

Daily responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

- Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to interact with the team to gather, interpret, analyze and present information.
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and customer requirements.
- Provide guidance to Program Management, Professional Services and Product Development teams on international, government and commercial contracting methods for PPS products and services while protecting our Intellectual Property.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Aftermarket Services, Engineering, Finance and Export teams.
- Support Senior Contract Managers in support of company programs and learn BAE Systems programs and processes.
- These support duties included program contracts, RFP’s, contract compliance and process, negotiations, NDA’s, Terms and Conditions, Program Flowdowns.
- Assist with the evaluation of Requests for Proposals, learn to identify business risks, and propose and negotiate terms and conditions that mitigate business risks.
- Maintain auditable Contract files. Support audits with Internal / External and Government Audit Agencies.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS/BA in a related field.
- A demonstrated background of business acumen, positive attitude, proactive mentality, problem solver, team member, willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously.
- 8 + years of contracting experience or advanced degree
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with international business
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse work teams
- Proficiency in MS Office software with an emphasis on Excel
- Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property law and policies.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Strong Experience with commercial and government contracting.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
