Spotter – 1st Shift

Pay: $25.50 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Spotter to safely move and position trailers throughout a busy warehouse and distribution facility. This position is responsible for transporting trailers to and from loading docks and staging areas, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining safe and efficient yard operations.

Responsibilities

- Safely move and spot trailers at designated loading docks and staging areas.
- Attach the drive unit to trailers and transport trailers to and from dock doors.
- Inspect trucks and equipment before and after use and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Operate power industrial equipment when required and properly trained.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transportation teams.
- Complete required paperwork, reports, and computer-based tasks.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient yard environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely operate yard vehicles and power industrial equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds .

Schedule & Pay

- Tuesday–Saturday
- 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
- $25.50 per hour
- Weekend work required as part of the regular schedule.
