Steel Processing Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Pay: $19.00/hour on 2nd Shift
Location: Blue Springs, MS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Training: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:45 PM, with the possibility of working until 6:00 PM

We are hiring Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Blue Springs, MS. This position works with large steel coils and specialized processing equipment to prepare materials for automotive manufacturing.

What You'll Do

Depending on your assigned production area, you may work on a Blanking Line or Slitter Line .

Blanking Line:

- Operate and monitor a metal stamping/blanking machine.
- Use an overhead crane to position steel coils into the machine.
- Program the machine to process and stamp metal into the required shapes and sizes.
- Monitor production to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare finished material for shipment to an automotive manufacturing facility.

Slitter Line:

- Operate and monitor a steel coil slitting machine.
- Use an overhead crane to position steel coils into the machine.
- Program the machine to cut large coils into smaller coils according to specifications.
- Inspect finished material for quality and accuracy.
- Prepare processed coils for shipment to automotive manufacturing facilities throughout the United States.

Qualifications

- Manufacturing, machine operation, or metal processing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn machine controls and programming procedures.
- Comfortable working around large machinery and steel materials.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift after training.
- Ability to work overtime or schedule changes as business needs require.
