Job Title: Manufacturing Buyer Job Description A large manufacturing firm in Redmond, WA seeks a skilled buyer for a 12-month contract. The role involves processing requisitions to ensure quality, service, delivery, and cost objectives are met in line with organizational sourcing strategies. Responsibilities

- Process requisitions in a timely manner, ensuring best quality, service, delivery, and cost.
- Maintain supplier relationships, improving lead time, cost, and quality.
- Compile, record, and track vendor information, supplier performance metrics, purchasing activities, and pricing data.
- Create and maintain accurate purchase orders, defining inbound quantities and due dates from suppliers.
- Stay informed on current market conditions and their impact on cost, lead time, and supply availability.
- Maintain item and supplier information in the system.
- Process Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Expedite parts as needed and provide updates on backorders.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and department policies in all activities.

Essential Skills

- Experience in purchase order management, supply chain, and inventory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup and pivot tables.
- Experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, and logistics.
- Strong data entry skills and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience in purchasing, buying, or material planning roles.
- Proven success in managing multiple suppliers with a focus on quality and cost adherence.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address material shortages, quality, and delivery issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with long lead items.

Work Environment The position is located in a manufacturing setting in Redmond, WA, and involves working with various stakeholders. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days starting at 5 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m., with Fridays off. The workplace offers free onsite parking, and there is potential for a direct hire for hard-working individuals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
