Ventia is seeking a customer-focused and technically capable  Network Operations Officer to join our high-performing Ventia Operations Centre (VOC) team in Cremorne, VIC.

As the first point of contact for operational support, you'll play a vital role in monitoring, supporting, and maintaining critical communications infrastructure across a diverse range of technologies including cellular, optical, satellite, radio, transmission, and embedded systems. ***Please note: This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays***

What You'll Be Doing

As a Network Operations Officer, you will:

- Monitor network systems and services to identify faults and service disruptions
- Act as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests
- Log, track, and manage incidents using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and technical issue resolution
- Escalate unresolved incidents to specialist technical teams within agreed service levels
- Coordinate incidents through to resolution, ensuring stakeholders remain informed
- Support major incident response and service restoration activities
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining operational excellence

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk, Network Operations Centre (NOC), Telecommunications Operations Centre, or similar technical support environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities – such as incidents, managing workloads and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Work effectively under pressure
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to build positive working relationships
- The capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to work
