Consumer Data Governance & Quality Expert (m/f/d)

About the position:

The Consumer Data Governance & Quality Expert ensures that consumer data is accurate, compliant and fit for business use. The role enables trusted analytics, reporting, consumer insights and data-driven decision-making across markets by strengthening data quality controls, remediation processes and governance practices.

Main areas of responsibility:

- Monitor, analyse and improve the quality of consumer data

- Define, document and monitor data quality rules and controls

- Perform data profiling, analysis, validation and remediation activities

- Coordinate data remediation activities addressing identified quality issues

- Analyse data trends and quality metrics to identify risks and recommend corrective actions

- Support the implementation and maintenance of global data governance frameworks, standards, business rules and validation controls

- Promote adherence to global data definitions, business glossaries and critical data element standards

- Support the onboarding of new markets into data quality and governance processes

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and identify improvement opportunities

- Translate business requirements into data quality and governance actions

- Support communication, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives related to consumer data quality

Requirements:

- A professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Master Data, Business Intelligence, Analytics or another data-focused function

- Educational background in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Mathematics or Statistics

- Strong command of written and spoken English

- Strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles, including data lineage, data dictionaries and governance platforms

- Experience in data analysis and data validation

- Experience working with SQL and databases

- Advanced Excel skills

- Ability to interpret and document business rules and data standards

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams

- Strong documentation and presentation skills
