Advisor, Electro & Instrumentation

NOV is seeking a technically skilled and service-oriented Technical Advisor – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to join our Aftermarket Field Engineering team in Stavanger.

In this role, you will provide technical support and field expertise for NOV equipment and systems throughout their operational life. You will work closely with customers, field engineers, project teams, service personnel, and product specialists to troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance.

The position offers a varied working environment combining technical analysis, customer interaction, field support, and continuous improvement.

- Technical education in electrical engineering, instrumentation, automation, or related discipline.
- Relevant experience with industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Practical experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
