About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Infotainment Test Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our Automotive Software Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for validating next-generation automotive infotainment systems, designing automated test frameworks, executing functional and integration testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery for automotive products.

What You Will Do

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for automotive infotainment systems.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate multimedia, connectivity, navigation, HMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay features.
- Analyze software requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
- Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Execute test campaigns on actual hardware platforms and simulators.
- Track, report, and manage defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Generate test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.

What You Need to Be Successful

- 3 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
- Strong programming and scripting experience in Python.
- Good understanding of test automation frameworks and test methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in validating infotainment features such as Media, Connectivity, Navigation, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Voice, and HMI.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
- Knowledge of Linux and Android-based infotainment platforms.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

- Experience with Robot Framework, PyTest, or other Python-based automation frameworks.
- Exposure to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or Vector tools.
- Understanding of embedded systems and automotive software architecture.
- Exposure to cloud-connected vehicle services and OTA testing.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive cybersecurity concepts.

What Makes You Eligible

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
- Proven experience in Python-based test automation.
- Strong understanding of automotive software quality processes and testing lifecycle.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global engineering environment.
