Senior Manager Stakeholder Management

The project:

Manages and oversees the implementation and delivery of a range of Stakeholder Management services to support commissions and provides line management leadership and guidance for others within the assigned Hub as required.

You’ll be responsible for:

- You will ensure robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
- You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

- You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your responsibilities:

- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
- Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
- Lead teams to achieve KPIs, share best practice and unlock potential across Mace.
- Lead stakeholder management strategies, frameworks and service delivery across assigned commissions.
- Build trusted client, consultant and contractor relationships to meet expectations and deliver outcomes.
- Govern standards, reporting, KPIs, risks and compliance in line with Mace and client requirements.
- Mentor teams, integrate disciplines, support resourcing and champion net zero carbon delivery.

You’ll need to have:

·        Experience of effective leadership on complex construction projects.

·        Experience of setting up effective functional management/assurance frameworks/strategies.

·        Comprehensive knowledge of functional tools, techniques and software.

·        Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.

·        Good understanding of construction projects, dependencies and interfaces within the project lifecycle.

·        Deep domain knowledge of providing specialist functional leadership in one or more sectors (e.g. rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).

·        Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form effective working relationships.

·        Ability to collaborate with and influence others.

·        Proven ability to articulate complex information and ideas for a non-technical audience.

·        Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment, managing multiple priorities.

·        Manages, influences and negotiates with senior stakeholders.

·        Strong attention to detail and ability to ‘deep dive’ into topics.

·        Exhibits some commercial acumen and assists with business development and bids/winning work as required.

·        Effective communication and engagement skills and is able to persuade/influence colleagues and stakeholders.

·        Intensive experience (or equivalent) supporting the delivery of a Stakeholder &

·        Communications services within the construction sector and/or management consultancy.

·        Progress towards achievement of Chartered status (or equivalent) and/or membership of

·        professional a relevant professional institution e.g. Association of Project Managers.
