Rail Fabrication Associate Pay & Skill Levels:
Our Rail Fabrication Associate position is structured in two skill-based tiers, with starting pay determined by your qualifications and experience. Rail Fabrication Associates have the opportunity to advance to the next tier by developing the required skills, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications outlined for that level. This opportunity is available on day shift: 6am-2:30pm, M-F.
Rail Fabrication Associate I - $30.59
- Safe operations of equipment in work cell
- Saw, Mill, Baliegh, Winton Bender, and Mid Rail Crusher in Manual and Automatic
- Loads and unloads rail robot
- Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
- Adherence to the attendance policy
- All other duties as required
Rail Fabrication Associate II - $33.34
- All duties required by Rail Fabrication Associate I
- Ability to repair bad welds from the robot
- Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
- Able to set up and troubleshoot issues with equipment in the work cell
- Saw, Mill, Baliegh, Winton Bender, and Mid Rail Crusher in Manual and Automatic
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of fabrication experience or training is required
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and quality inspection tools is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing.
- Professionalism: Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude.
- Reliability: Can make the daily commute to Spring Park, MN and maintain good attendance.
- Pre-employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and physical work simulation.
- Training: Completion of necessary training requirements provided by Safety Rail Co.
