Job Overview
PrideStaff is partnering with a leader in the building materials industry to find a dedicated and safety-focused Powders Production Associate . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and packaging raw chemical materials into finished goods, as well as using a forklift to stage inventory for storage.

Key Responsibilities
Material Preparation: Measure and prepare chemicals and raw materials for daily manufacturing processes.
Batching & Mixing: Load chemicals and raw materials into mixing equipment to produce finished goods.
Packaging & Staging: Prepare packaging materials and securely pack finished goods according to product specifications.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transfer finished products and materials to designated storage areas.
Quality & Safety: Maintain clean work spaces, follow strict quality control standards, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Experience: Previous work experience in a similar industrial manufacturing or chemical/powder batching role.
Certifications: Active Forklift Operator Certification and completed safety training.
Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety, precision, and quality standards.
Communication: Ability to follow oral and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively over phone/radio in an industrial setting.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Safety First: Strict adherence to all safety rules and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Dynamic Environment: Work in both indoor and outdoor plant environments with exposure to dust, noise, physical labor, and varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity).
Physical Demands: Heavy physical tasks including frequent climbing, standing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently, 10 lbs. constantly).
Sensory & Health Requirements: Must be able to hear verbal commands/audible alarms around heavy machinery and conveyor systems, and pass a physical exam if required.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts as needed (early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays to support production goals).
