Boddington is a flagship Newmont gold and copper operation in Western Australia, located about 130 kilometres south-east of Perth and 16 kilometres from the rural town of Boddington. As one of Australia's largest gold producers, Boddington is recognised for its leadership in innovation and technology, including becoming the world's first gold mine to implement an Autonomous Haulage System.

##### Your Contribution
As a Manager Mine Operations, you'll build the culture to lead the safe, reliable and productive operation of the mine by translating site priorities into optimised operational plans. You'll help build an inclusive and respectful culture enabling a multi-generational site to continue earning its Social Licence to operate.
##### As Part of Our Team You Will
- Lead mine operations safely and deliver production in line with operational plans, schedules, budgets and sustainability requirements.
- Continue the automation and technology journey the site has embarked on.
- Translate site priorities into clear, integrated plans developed in collaboration with processing, technical services and other supporting functions.
- Improve operational performance by applying mining practices, technologies and improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and delivery.
- Lead, coach and develop operators, technicians and supervisors while monitoring performance across safety, community, environment, production and operating costs.
##### Prerequisites for Success in This Role
- A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field will be preferable.
- Considerable experience in open pit mining operations and understanding around Systems Leadership and Levels of Work.
- Advanced knowledge of mine operations, planning, production, mining methods, mineral extraction, equipment, and health, safety, environmental and sustainability practices.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to collaborate, influence and resolve conflict with employees, contractors, regulators, community stakeholders and business partners.
- Experience managing operations in an Autonomous Haulage System environment highly desirable.

- Based at Newmont’s Boddington operation on a 5:2, 4:3 drive-in, drive-out roster.
- Work within an Operations and Mine Technical Services environment focused on maintaining and optimising mining systems and infrastructure.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and risk-aware working environment by leading, coaching and mentoring team members to support safe, productive site outcomes.
