Position Opportunity
The Co-Manufacturing Manager will serve as the primary customer-facing liaison for our co-manufacturing partners. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating activities across Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Production Scheduling to ensure customer requirements are consistently met. The position plays a critical role in building strong relationships with our customers and co-manufacturers, ensuring operational alignment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable adjusting to evolving company needs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for co-manufacturing customers, ensuring clear communication and responsiveness.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional activities between Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Production Scheduling.
- Oversee customer audits, documentation requests, and quality assurance expectations, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Monitor production schedules with co-manufacturers to meet on-time delivery and service level expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve customer concerns, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturing partners to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (quality, service, cost, delivery) and present updates to leadership and customers.
- Support new product launches and changes with co-manufacturers.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within quality systems, supply chain coordination, and customer engagement.
- Remain flexible and adaptable, understanding that company needs may evolve and responsibilities may shift accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company goals.
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Quality Management, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Related Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, supply chain, operations, or co-manufacturing management within a manufacturing environment (food/CPG preferred).
Knowledge/Skills Experience:
- Strong understanding of quality assurance systems, supply chain logistics, and production scheduling.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; ERP/MRP systems experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
