About this role

Job Description This position plays a key role in connecting Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Suppliers, and Operations teams to proactively manage material readiness, resolve shortages, and mitigate supply chain risks. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving complex supply chain challenges, and driving successful program execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and manage material requirements for prototype and pilot builds.
- Monitor critical material orders and proactively resolve supply constraints, supplier delays, and shortages.
- Create, maintain, and distribute inventory and material status reports for stakeholders.
- Communicate material risks, supplier commitments, and schedule impacts to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are available to support build schedules and project milestones.
- Escalate critical supply chain issues and support mitigation and recovery plans.
- Provide supply chain updates and risk assessments during cross-functional program reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, material visibility, and overall supply chain execution.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and development programs through effective material planning and coordination.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

- High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering Support, Operations, or a related field; OR
- Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mossville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
