PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking dependable, motivated, and energetic PACKING ASSOCIATES for a distribution company in Romeoville, IL.
These are 1st & 2nd shift TEMP-TO-HIRE opportunities starting at $ 20.00 per hour
1st shift = 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
2nd shift = 3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri
*Must be available for OT as needed!

The Pack Associate is responsible for accurately packing small HVAC parts and service components for customer and dealer orders within a high-volume distribution environment.
Core responsibilities include:
Utilize RF scanners or pick tickets to verify part numbers, quantities, and overall order accuracy, while selecting the appropriate cartons, dunnage, and packaging materials to ensure timely, damage-free shipments Label, seal, and stage packages for outbound shipping Maintain established productivity and quality performance standards Identify or report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to leadership Strict adherence to all safety policies, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping guidelines Keep packing stations clean and fully stocked Assist with rework or peak-season volume projects, and work collaboratively across picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of previous warehouse/distribution experience PREFERRED Must be reliable and safety conscious. Attendance and teamwork are key! MUST be willing to purchase required footwear (Steel toe boots with minimum standard of ASTM 2413-18) and puncture resistant insoles
