Job Title: Hanger Packer

$19-$20 an hour

Job Summary

The Hanger-Packer is responsible for the proper packaging and quality of all products within their department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock and prepare workspace with necessary supplies to package handled goods • Hang, dry and package and label product

• Stage racks and trays for drying of product

• Perform limited quality inspections

• Understands Process Control Plan and performs duties as called out by PCP

• Understands Travelers and performs duties as called out on Traveler

• Log/File appropriate documents and daily results

• Assist with 5s and housekeeping duties

• Trained on orientation, housekeeping, and proper gowning procedures

• Additional tasks or projects as assigned by management

• Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested

Required Education and Experience

The minimum educational requirement to successfully perform the duties required of this position is a high  school education (GED) or six months of relevant work experience.

While performing activities required of the employee to perform the job, the employee is occasionally  required to push and pull using hands or arms, use hands or arms to hold or grasp, stoop, bend, twist waist.  Frequently required to ascend and descend step stool, reach above or below shoulder level, use fingers for  fine manipulation. Constantly required to walk, hear, use near and far vision. Must have the ability to lift,  carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs., or heavier with the use of proper equipment  and/or help of co-workers.

Work Environment

While performing the job duties of this position, the Hanger Packer is exposed to the following work area  environmental conditions while performing the essential functions of the position.

Initial Below:

Indoors, not environmentally controlled

Seasonal temperatures or heat index equal to or exceeding 87° Fahrenheit

Loud sounds or distracting noise levels

Work around equipment or near machinery

Dust and other environmental hazards

• December Shutdown, eligible for 1 of the 2 shutdown weeks for holiday pay once the 30-day eligibility is met.
• Potential Discretionary Bonus in December.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
