Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer III to join our team!

Reflexive Concepts is looking for a Systems Engineer III to deliver high-quality, service-focused hardware capabilities for a large-scale Linux infrastructure environment in support of the Agency's STE/STN objectives. In this role you will collaborate closely with product owners, program managers, hardware engineers, networking and storage teams, system administrators, and customer stakeholders. You will also create, maintain, and update clear, accurate technical documentation that keeps teams aligned, enables effective knowledge transfer, and supports long-term system sustainment.

Qualifications:

- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph

- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, including demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts, plus a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR

- Twenty-five (25) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, including demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree (five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree).

Required Skills + Experience :

- Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems, including proficiency with command-line tooling

- Ability to develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline operational and maintenance tasks

- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software across large-scale Linux cluster environments

- Familiarity with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies

- Broad technical understanding of server components, including compute, storage arrays, network fabrics, memory architectures, and database technologies

- Working knowledge of IaC concepts, principles and experience using automation tooling such as SaltStack and Ansible

- Hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd

- Familiarity with Fiber Channel attached storage systems

- Familiarity with Oracle OLVM and its use in managing and operating virtualized Linux environments

Desired Skills + Experience

- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

- Familiar with distributed files systems such as Weka, CEPH, GPFS, and HDFS

- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
