Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Sales Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV . This role is ideal for someone with strong elevator industry knowledge who can combine technical expertise, customer relationship management, and business development skills to identify and secure modernization opportunities.

On a typical day you will:

- Identify and pursue elevator modernization sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
- Partner with Account Managers to identify equipment modernization opportunities and develop leads into customer proposals.
- Manage RFPs, bid opportunities, proposal development, presentations, follow-up, and customer negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vertical transportation consultants .
- Visit job sites to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate modernization solutions.
- Coordinate with field and operational teams throughout the modernization sales and planning process.
- Manage contract documentation, approvals, layouts, and other sales-related project details through completion.
- Provide technical support and elevator expertise throughout project planning and implementation.
- Manage multiple proposals, customer opportunities, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Support a positive customer experience through consistent communication and follow-up.

What you will need to be successful

- 3-5+ years of elevator industry experience with strong knowledge of elevator equipment and operations.
- Previous sales experience is beneficial; candidates with strong elevator industry expertise and the ability to develop sales skills will also be considered.
- Strong customer relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical modernization solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft-based computer software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Transparency:

The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000, plus a generous commission plan.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
