This position is located in Huntsville, AL, where you will serve as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) at Lockheed Martin, safeguarding Sensitive Compartmented Information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and global interests. You'll work alongside other security experts, government civilians, and military members to support military operational objectives by providing a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on your experience and education along with Lockheed Martin resources to keep these critical capabilities and intelligence protected.

Position Overview: Currently seeking a CSSO to serve in a pivotal security role with the following responsibilities:

* Physical Security & Compliance: Develops and plans physical security resources in accordance with ICD 705 standards. Prepares fixed facility checklists, facility accreditation packages, badge and alarm reconciliation, and manages safe access control.
* Security Program Administration: Administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data.
* Proprietary Information Protection: Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
* Program Support: Performs individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, Special Access Programs (SAP), or DOD collateral classified programs. Serves as either a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or Program Security Representative (PSR).
* Regulatory Implementation: Studies and implements federal security regulations applying to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security regulations, SCI security regulations (ICD), or DOD security regulations (NISPOM).
* Government Engagement: Works closely with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
* Program Management Support: Provides support in managing quality, schedule, and cost expectations associated with program development and execution while maintaining fundamental security requirements.
* Documentation & Procedures: Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, record-keeping, and granting personnel and visitor access to classified materials.
* Training & Education: Develops and conducts security education classes.
* Investigation & Reporting: Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive actions to be taken.
* Risk Management: Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, communicating observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
* Clearance & Visitor Support: Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

Basic Qualifications

* Must have an active Top Secret/SCI and an investigation within 5 years
* Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07, Knowledge and Expierence implementing 5205.07 and 5105.21 V-3.
* Candidate must be a self-driven and results oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and/or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
* Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.

Desired Skills

* Experience with JADE, SIMS, DISS, and Special Access Programs (SAP) security compliance.
* Experience working DoD Special Programs as a CSSO, ACSSO or physical security specialist.
* Ability to work independently when required and be a team player.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

* Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
* For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
