We are looking for a talented Senior Benefits, Leaves & Disability Analyst to join our Total Rewards team for Cummins Services – HR Operations at Cummins Comercializadora in San Luis Potosí, SLP, Mexico.

Work Modality: Hybrid, 3 days on site, 2 days home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Administer disability and leave cases, including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), parental leave, and other applicable leave programs, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

- Perform and validate complex benefit and pay calculations, including disability benefits, state leave payments, parental leave payments, workers’ compensation offsets, and other payroll impacts.

- Manage employee inquiries and escalated cases related to disability and leave programs, providing clear, empathetic, and timely guidance throughout the employee’s leave journey.

- Review employee and case data for accuracy and completeness, including approval notifications, pay element entries, deductions, offsets, and other disability or leave-related transactions.

- Perform first-level quality audits to identify data discrepancies, processing errors, and potential compliance risks, and coordinate corrective actions as needed.

- Partners with the Disability team, People Support, HR, Payroll, managers, and external vendors to resolve complex disability and leave cases and ensure effective coordination across processes.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies by identifying root causes, coordinating with key stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate resolution and documentation of cases.

- Maintain accurate case documentation and records across HR, case management, tracking, and vendor systems to support reporting, controls, and audit requirements.

- Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, analyzing trends, recommending solutions, and driving implementation of process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, compliance and employee experience.

- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for disability and leave processes, providing guidance, interpreting policy and process requirements, and supporting capability building across stakeholders.
