Global Sourcing
Visa’s Global Sourcing organization, a key part of our Global Finance function, oversees the comprehensive sourcing and procurement of goods and services. Our team collaborates with technology partners and business units to lead all strategic sourcing activities worldwide, ensuring the optimal selection of suppliers that deliver best-in-class value in price and quality while minimizing risk. We support the business with risk management, supplier negotiations & contracting, purchase order processes, and accounts payable to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. Our efforts are crucial in delivering cost savings and streamlining the procurement of goods and services.
Team Overview
As part of Visa’s Global Sourcing function, the Center of Excellence (CoE) team serves as a foundational capability for the Sourcing function, and enables the function’s success through people, process, program and operational management best practices. The CoE will drive consistency, clarity, and strong execution — while maintaining flexibility to meet business and regional needs, and focuses on four core areas:

This role reports to the Director of Global Sourcing Data & Insights within COE.
The Global Sourcing Data & Insights team empowers the Global Sourcing organization with data, dashboards, and analytical tools that help measure performance, identify savings opportunities, uncover operational insights, inform strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
The team is responsible for designing end-to-end data solutions, defining and analyzing business-critical KPIs, developing scalable data products and advanced reporting capabilities, and enabling self-service analytics across the sourcing organization. Through strong partnerships with business, finance, and technology teams, we help transform data into actionable insights that drive measurable business value..
Job Description Overview
As the Data & Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing analytical products and reporting that provide visibility into business performance across the Global Sourcing organization, while serving as a strategic thought partner to sourcing and finance leaders.
You will drive the design and execution of scalable analytics solutions, data products, and reporting capabilities that influence organizational direction and deliver measurable business value. You will own the development of data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical solutions, enabling category leaders to quickly digest information, identify opportunities for improvement, and make decisions. You will gather, extract, and transform data from various financial systems, then develop compelling and accurate dashboards for the global sourcing team.
In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with many organizations, including category leaders within the global sourcing team, the IT team that manages the enterprise application, and the Finance team that defines our financial data. As a member of the global team, your stakeholders and colleagues will be located across the globe in different time zones. Your expertise will be critical in fostering a data-driven culture, championing best practices in data governance, and elevating the quality and strategic use of data throughout the Global Sourcing organization.
Responsibilities
- Insights & Reporting Design and maintain reusable data products, semantic models, and analytical datasets that enable self-service reporting and analytics across the organization.
- Design, develop and deliver sophisticated dashboards, reports, and analytical models that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Deliver reports and analyses that highlight trends, identify opportunities, and answer critical business questions.
- Maintain and enhance the existing dashboard suite to ensure data accuracy and completeness, address user questions, and improve the user interface experience.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for specific initiatives, collaborating with category leads and analysts as needed.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, analysis, and business processes using modern analytics, AI, and workflow automation technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business problems, and translate objectives into actionable analytics initiatives.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define data requirements, ensure the availability and quality of source data, and develop scalable, reusable data products and datasets using sound data architecture principles to advance enterprise analytics capabilities.
- Drive adoption of analytics solutions by partnering with stakeholders, gathering feedback, conducting enablement sessions, and continuously improving user experience.
- Data Governance & Best Practices Champion best data practices across the organization by developing protocols and governance to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Proactively provide training to improve data consistency, awareness, and effective data usage across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education Bachelor’s degree in a STEM/Finance field required. Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Data Analytics or a related discipline strongly preferred.
- Experience 4+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, with 6+ years preferred. Experience supporting operations, finance, supply chain, sourcing, or related functions is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross functional initiatives and driving process or technology adoption at scale.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple high impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, semantic models, star schemas, and curated analytics datasets. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models. Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Deep expertise in data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience with Python is a plus. Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate is a plus.
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent technologies is a plus.
- Experience leveraging GenAI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate analytics, automation, software development, and business productivity.
- Experience with financial datasets such as Ariba, expense, or General Ledger data. Understanding of general ledger account structure and cost center structure is highly desirable.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and software platforms.

Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $93,500.00 to $ 145,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
