Job Title: Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic team involved in sustaining engineering and product development. Our team focuses on the development of electronics. Responsibilities
- Manage several hardware development and electrical engineering projects at a time.
- Dedicate 75% of the time to project management activities, ensuring projects are on track and meeting milestones and deadlines.
- Utilize project management tools to track project health and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Engage with supply chain management and migrate manufacturing suppliers as necessary.
- Interface with software engineering and mechanical engineering teams to integrate their inputs into the products.
- Spend 25% of the time on technical hands-on activities, particularly testing.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and insights.
Essential Skills
- 7+ years of experience in project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and provide updates to project stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Past technical experience in hardware and electrical engineering.
- Ability to execute tests as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
