- Wire sensors, instruments, and small-gauge electrical components used in process systems.
- Assemble and troubleshoot electrical control panels that support production and testing systems.
- Interpret and implement P&IDs to construct complete process and instrumentation systems.
- Assemble hydraulic systems and stainless steel tubing using Swagelok fittings and connections.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulics, and process systems.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, lab records, and build notes for equipment and systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and R&D teams to support prototype builds and equipment modifications.
- Support the transition of equipment and processes from R&D into manufacturing environments.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE while working in a chemical laboratory and manufacturing setting.
Essential Skills
- Experience performing mechanical assembly of industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, or production equipment.
