Indiana Tech invites applications for the position of Regional AI Partnerships Manager within The Learning Exchange. Reporting to the Director of the Learning Exchange, with a dotted-line relationship to the Executive Director of the AI Institute, this position serves as a key connector between Indiana Tech, regional employers, workforce organizations, and community partners. The Regional AI Partnerships Manager will build and manage employer relationships that support applied AI projects, workforce development initiatives, corporate training opportunities, and industry engagement for both The Learning Exchange and the AI Institute. The successful candidate will represent Indiana Tech across the region, maintain strategic partnerships, and connect employers to AI readiness, workforce training, and talent-development programs.
The Regional AI Partnerships Manager will collaborate closely with AI Institute leadership, community organizations, workforce boards, economic-development partners, and employer networks to identify emerging workforce needs and expand opportunities for students and organizations. Responsibilities include developing employer partnerships, supporting corporate training agreements, coordinating employer engagement activities, monitoring partnership outcomes, and helping grow regional participation in AI-focused education and workforce initiatives.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Higher Education Administration, or a related field; a minimum of five years of experience in employer relations, business development, workforce partnerships, or a related field; demonstrated experience building and maintaining external partnerships; strong understanding of employer needs, workforce development trends, and regional labor markets; and exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related discipline; experience negotiating corporate contracts, subscriptions, or licensing agreements; experience with CRM, employer engagement, or partnership management systems; and experience coordinating partnerships across multiple institutions, organizations, or consortium structures.
