Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality of Care Investigative Nurse (LPN) to support the Division of Developmental Disabilities Quality Management Unit. This position conducts thorough, member-centered investigations of quality-of-care concerns to help protect member health, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct timely, thorough, and member-centered quality-of-care investigations.
- Investigate both individual member concerns and systemic quality-of-care issues.
- Review medical records, documentation, and other relevant information.
- Request and maintain documentation necessary to support investigations.
- Prepare professional investigative reports, correspondence, and case documentation.
- Develop and issue vendor corrective action plans or remediation when appropriate.
- Utilize critical thinking and nursing judgment to assess findings and determine appropriate corrective actions.

Minimum Requirement
