### Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support within an aircraft manufacturing and production environment. This role will support the production floor by interpreting engineering requirements and drawings, developing manufacturing work instructions, and troubleshooting build and process issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret aircraft design requirements, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, build plans, visual aids, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Provide hands-on technical support to production personnel and troubleshoot aircraft build, tooling, and manufacturing process issues.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Tooling teams to define build processes and incorporate drawing changes.
- Identify process and tooling improvements to increase production efficiency and product quality.
- Support training of production personnel on manufacturing processes and work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 4+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience, OR Masters degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of experience, OR PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical symbols.
- Experience reading and interpreting detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Experience supporting manufacturing processes and resolving production-floor technical issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aircraft or aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience with aircraft wire harness fabrication, cable installation, avionics, power distribution, or electrical testing/troubleshooting.
- Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with NX, CATIA, or similar CAD software.
- Experience with SAP, MES, or similar manufacturing systems.
- Experience developing or modifying manufacturing work instructions and process specifications.
- Understanding of root cause/corrective action methodologies such as 5 Whys, Pareto, or fishbone analysis.
Additional Requirements
- Drug screening and background check required.
- This position does not support OPT/STEM OPT.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
