DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Investigations Triage Specialist, located in Bogota, Colombia.

Job Overview

The Investigations Triage Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring employee concerns and workplace issues are routed efficiently, consistently, and confidentially to the appropriate HR, compliance, ethics, or business stakeholders. This role serves as an initial point of contact for investigations-related inquiries and case intake activities, ensuring accurate documentation, risk assessment, prioritization, and escalation of cases in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of employee relations and compliance topics and provides opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional partners across HR, Legal, Compliance, and Employee Relations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, review, and triage employee relations, ethics, compliance, and workplace concerns submitted through established intake channels.
- Conduct initial assessment of cases to determine risk level, urgency, required documentation, and appropriate routing.
- Accurately document allegations, inquiries, and supporting information within case management systems.
- Ensure timely escalation of high-risk, sensitive, or complex matters to designated investigators or business stakeholders.
- Monitor case queues and service-level expectations to support timely resolution and stakeholder responsiveness.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Communicate with employees, managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders to gather required intake information.
- Identify trends and recurring themes that may require additional review or proactive intervention.
- Support reporting, metrics, auditing activities, and process improvement initiatives related to investigations intake and case management.
- Adhere to all company policies, legal requirements, data privacy standards, and record retention guidelines.

Qualifications

Education:

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Legal Studies, or a related field.

Preferred

- Advanced coursework or certification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance, Ethics, or Investigations.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

- 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance, Ethics, Shared Services, Contact Center Operations, Investigations Support, or a related field.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and prioritize cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with case management systems, HR systems, or workflow management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Preferred:

- Experience supporting global HR operations or shared service environments.
- Knowledge of employee relations, ethics, compliance, workplace investigations, or grievance processes.
- Experience applying risk assessment and case prioritization methodologies.
- Familiarity with data privacy and record management requirements.
- Experience working in a multinational organization.
- Proficiency with reporting and dashboard tools.
- Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.

Other:

- Language Requirements: Fluency in English required; additional language capabilities supporting regional operations are a plus.
- Travel: Minimal travel anticipated (up to 5%, business needs dependent).
- Certifications: HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or investigations-related certification preferred.
