Job Description

Field Service Technician II / III

Location: Brighton, CO (servicing the greater Denver metro area)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed based on business demands and service volume

Compensation:

- Field Service Technician II: Starting at $29.58/hour
- Field Service Technician III: Starting at $32.15/hour

Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and placement within the Field Service Technician II or III level.

We are currently seeking Field Service Technician II and Field Service Technician III team members to join our Customer Care team based in Brighton, CO , supporting customers throughout the Denver metropolitan area and surrounding communities .

Position Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will perform warranty and non-warranty repairs in customers' homes throughout your assigned service territory. While technicians are based out of our Brighton, CO facility, this role requires travel throughout the Denver metro area to support customers with window and door service needs. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to diagnose issues, determine warranty eligibility, and communicate findings professionally with both customers and internal teams.

What You'll Do

Perform Field Service Repairs

- Complete warranty and non-warranty service repairs at customer homes.
- Adjust components, replace parts and hardware, perform water testing, and take measurements.
- Diagnose product issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Document all work completed accurately and thoroughly.

Manage Service Appointments

- Travel throughout your assigned territory to customer locations.
- Complete scheduled service appointments efficiently and professionally.
- Review work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate Parts & Materials

- Requisition and manage parts needed to complete repairs.
- Work with internal teams to ensure materials are available for service calls.

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Explain repair findings and warranty determinations clearly.
- Represent MITER Brands in a positive and professional manner.

Maintain Safe Work Practices

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely.

Qualifications

MITER Brands is hiring for both Field Service Technician II and Field Service Technician III positions. Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level based on their experience, skills, and overall qualifications.

Field Service Technician II

- 4-5 years of window and door installation, repair, or service experience.
- Prior glass, window, door, or construction industry experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to safely climb ladders up to 40 feet.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Field Service Technician III

- 8-10 years of window and door installation, repair, or service experience.
- Extensive knowledge of residential window and door products, hardware, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose product issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Prior glass, window, door, or construction industry experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to safely climb ladders up to 40 feet.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience servicing windows and doors in residential environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
- Experience performing warranty repairs, product inspections, and field troubleshooting.
- Strong customer-facing experience and professionalism when working in occupied homes.

Additional Requirements

- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet customer and business demands.
- Ability to travel throughout the Denver metro area and surrounding service territory.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours based on service schedules and workload requirements.
