Civil / Structural Engineer
Join a team delivering complex industrial and energy projects.
We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to support the design and execution of major industrial facilities, including refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical facilities, and gas processing projects . In this role, you'll work across EPC projects from FEED through construction , developing safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial facilities
- Develop foundations, equipment supports, pipe racks, substations, and control buildings
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports
- Review fabrication drawings, vendor submittals, and shop drawings
- Participate in 3D model reviews and multidisciplinary design coordination
- Collaborate with geotechnical, civil, and project teams
- Provide technical support during construction and resolve field issues
- Ensure designs comply with AISC, ACI, ASCE, and project standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial environments
- Experience with refinery, LNG, petrochemical, chemical, or gas processing facilities
- Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes and standards
- Experience supporting EPC projects from FEED through construction
- Background in foundation design, equipment supports, and steel structures
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
- PE license preferred

- LNG project experience
- Pipe racks, substations, and control building design
- CAD and 3D model review experience
- Coordination with geotechnical and site development teams

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $100.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
