About the Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced   Accountant to join our finance team within a hospitality, catering, and food & beverage environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.

- Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Prepare and review invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting financial documents.

- Perform daily sales reconciliation and verify revenue from restaurants, catering, and F&B operations.

- Monitor cash, credit card, POS, and other payment transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation.

- Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reports as required.

- Monitor expenses, purchases, and operational costs, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation for food, beverage, and other operational supplies.

- Assist in monitoring food and beverage costs and identifying variances.

- Ensure proper recording and classification of expenses and revenues.

- Maintain organized financial documentation and records for audit purposes.

- Support external and internal audits by providing required financial information and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.

- Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager or management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 0 -2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within hospitality, catering, or F&B operations.

- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of VAT and relevant accounting regulations is an advantage.
