About the Job
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Engineer to support our IT operations across hospitality, catering, and food & beverage facilities. The ideal candidate will assist with technical support, hardware, software, networks, and daily IT operations while ensuring smooth and reliable technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees and operational teams.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, POS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with user accounts, system access, and IT setup for new employees.
- Support network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and basic system connectivity.
- Assist with POS and technology systems used in F&B and hospitality operations.
- Maintain IT equipment, software, and asset records.
- Follow IT security, backup, and data protection procedures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors.
- Provide technical support across different locations when required.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality and F&B environment.
