Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Service Delivery • Lead day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle for Lenovo’s India site. • Ensure consistent local HR service delivery aligned with company policies and statutory compliance. • Partner with HR Shared Services and COEs to deliver seamless employee support.
Technology Enhancements & Process Optimization • Leverage AI and digital technologies to streamline HR processes and improve employee experience. • Partner with the HR Shared Services team to drive Workday enhancements and workflow automations. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify workflows, eliminate manual effort, and automate routine tasks. • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency using Copilot, Power Platform, and other digital tools.
Wages & Payroll Management • Oversee payroll coordination, salary administration, wages, and statutory deductions to ensure accurate and timely processing. • Ensure compliance with applicable wage structures and statutory requirements. • Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams to validate payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies.
HR Analytics, Reporting & Data Management • Develop and publish HR dashboards to track key people metrics and operational KPIs. • Manage headcount validation, workforce reporting, and data accuracy. • Provide timely employee data to external partners (Insurance, inFeedo, and other HR vendors). • Generate insights that support business and HR decision-making.
HR Audit, Risk Management & Statutory Projects • Lead HR audits, compliance reviews, and statutory inspections. • Identify compliance gaps and drive corrective and preventive actions. • Support strategic projects including Labour Code implementation and Employee Relations initiatives. • Maintain accurate HR documentation and compliance records.
Employee Queries & Communication • Manage employee queries across HR communication channels with a strong service orientation. • Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and regular HR communications to improve self-service and employee awareness.
Experience & Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Digital Excellence. • Post Graduation in MBA (Preferred) • Proven experience leading HR process improvement and automation initiatives. • Strong understanding of HRIS (Workday preferred), payroll processes, compliance, and HR operational governance. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, ServiceNow, or similar workflow automation tools. • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, verbal, and written communication skills. • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional partnering ability.
