About this role
Seeking a Semiconductor Test Engineer with expertise in DFT, ATE testing, silicon bring-up, and SoC validation . The role involves developing and optimizing test solutions for IoT and connectivity products , supporting production, characterization, and reliability testing using Teradyne UltraFLEX-RF platforms. Ideal candidates will have strong programming, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, EEE, or a related field.
Your role Key responsibilities in your new role
- Must have strong understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals, including analog and digital circuits, as well as circuit theory.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) methodologies, including ATPG and PMU blocks such as BUCLK and LDOs, along with trimming procedures.
- Leverage expertise in semiconductor testing methodologies using Teradyne UltraFLEX-RF platforms; experience with UltraFLEX+ is an added advantage.
- Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs while resolving hardware-related test issues.
- Provide technical support, root-cause analysis, and test engineering expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize scripting and programming skills in languages such as Perl, Python, C, C++, Java, and Visual Basic to enhance test development and automation.
- Develop and debug characterization and production test programs for SoC connectivity products encompassing digital, mixed-signal, PMU, NVM, and RF blocks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across design centers, including IP Design, Applications Engineering, DFT, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering to ensure successful product development and qualification.
- Work effectively in UNIX/Linux environments, leveraging shell scripting and command-line tools for automation and debugging.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills while working in a global and cross-functional environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or related fields is must.

- Perform silicon bring-up and debug on ATE platforms.
- Deliver cost-effective, high-quality test solutions for mass production.
