As Team Leader Laboratory & Architectural Planning, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects and laboratory experts within the Life Sciences business unit. Together, you will create innovative research, development, and production environments for leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences companies.
You will be responsible for the professional development of your team, promote technical excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects. In close collaboration with clients and internal disciplines, you will make a significant contribution to strengthening Exyte’s position as a leading partner for highly regulated life sciences projects.
## Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of architects and laboratory experts, both technically and disciplinarily
- Support, coach, and develop team members
- Take responsibility for the development of innovative laboratory and building concepts for research, development, and manufacturing environments
- Ensure high planning quality with regard to functionality, user requirements, GMP compliance, and sustainability
- Collaborate closely with the Process, Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, and Project Management disciplines
- Advise clients on laboratory, architectural, and workplace concepts
- Support proposal activities, client presentations, and business development initiatives
- Manage resource and capacity planning within the team
- Promote best practices and innovation in laboratory and architectural design
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries
## Show your expertise
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a comparable field of study
- Several years of professional experience in the planning and design of laboratory, research, or life sciences facilities
- Leadership experience in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong knowledge of laboratory requirements and GMP-regulated environments
- Experience working with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong commitment to quality
- Fluent German and English language skills
