About this role
The Sunday @ 9 coordinator is to oversee and facilitate all aspects of the student lead worship services. They work closely with the worship team, Campus ministries staff, and other stakeholders to plan and execute meaningful worship experiences that align with the spiritual needs and values of the community. Responsibilities typically include scheduling worship leaders, musicians, and technical support staff, coordinating the selection of music and liturgy, and ensuring the smooth flow of worship services. Additionally, coordinators may provide leadership in incorporating diverse worship styles creative elements to enhance the worship experience. this role will help manage budgeting, social media promotions, and ongoing development with Campus Ministries staff.
Must be available 8pm - 10:30pm on Sunday nights that worship service is happening.

Requirements:
Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University.
Organization: Ability to manage logistics, schedules, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to interact with teammates, musicians and attendees.
Sundays @ 9 coordinators are expected to maintain regular attendance at chapel services, Sundays @9 rehearsals, if needed, and meetings, while ensuring thorough preparation for assigned duties, including setup, cleanup, and logistical tasks. Punctuality is crucial, requiring coordinators to arrive on time for all scheduled events and fulfill responsibilities promptly. Professionalism is essential, with assistants always conducting themselves with respect, integrity, and professionalism while representing Friends University and Campus Ministries.
