Job Title: Project Manager Job Description This role leads multiple technical projects from initial kickoff through final customer acceptance, with a focus on switchgear, buildings, and related electrical products. The Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery, while owning scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance. This position serves as the primary customer-facing contact, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and successful delivery of complex electrical and control systems. Responsibilities

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through final customer acceptance, ensuring each project meets agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, design coordination, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery of switchgear, buildings, relay panels, and related products.
- Own project scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues that may impact project success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication, managing expectations, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and other internal groups, to align internal execution with customer requirements.
- Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings, set clear expectations, and drive ongoing project updates and status reviews.
- Communicate technical and contractual requirements to internal teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and compliance with agreements.
- Allocate resources, prioritize project activities, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure they meet scope, schedule, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor project status, track progress, and identify risks, issues, and opportunities, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to documentation standards, contractual terms, and company processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project invoicing by coordinating billing milestones, tracking payments, and managing project financials to meet financial targets.
- Review and approve shipments, ensuring that all deliverables meet customer specifications and quality expectations before release.
- Drive project closeout activities, including final documentation, punch list resolution, and securing formal customer acceptance.

Essential Skills

- 35 years of professional project management experience, preferably in technical or engineering-focused environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing full-scope projects, including financials, scheduling, client-facing communication, and production coordination.
- Project management experience across the product development lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery.
- Experience or strong exposure to engineering disciplines, with particular relevance to electrical engineering.
- Experience with manufacturing environments, especially related to switchgear, controls, relay panels, medium voltage, low voltage, e-house, or buildings.
- Ability to manage and communicate technical and contractual requirements to cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage vendors and subcontractors to meet scope and deliverables.
- Strong skills in tracking and managing project financials, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Professional project management experience (candidates with no professional experience or more than 5 years of experience do not meet the target profile).
- Experience specifically as a Project Manager rather than a Project Engineer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience working with medium voltage and low voltage systems, including switchgear and relay panels.
- Familiarity with e-house and building-related electrical products and systems.
- Exposure to the full product development life cycle in an engineering or manufacturing context.
- Comfort working in a rapidly growing organization with expanding product lines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and process compliance.

Work Environment The role follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position operates in a professional environment that collaborates closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, particularly within switchgear, buildings, and related electrical product lines. The organization is experiencing rapid growth and expanding its product offerings in the data center supplier space, creating opportunities to work on a variety of complex, technical projects and to contribute to the development of new product lines
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
