We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted financial resource to department leaders and executives while helping ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of financial reporting and operations.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's financial operations and business objectives by:

Managing assigned accounting functions and maintaining accurate financial records

Monitoring and analyzing general ledger activity to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data

Preparing and reviewing internal and external financial reports

Serving as a financial resource and trusted advisor to departmental leaders

Responding to financial and operational inquiries with timely, insightful analysis and recommendations

Supporting leadership with special projects, strategic initiatives, and financial analyses

Coordinating and managing finance-related projects as assigned

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals

Mentoring and serving as a resource to members of the Finance team

Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an Accounting major, or equivalent education and experience

Preferred Education

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Required Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience

Preferred Experience

Healthcare accounting experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

Experience using financial systems, accounting software, and other business applications

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset
